We look forward to your arrival on campus. Here is an overview of the Orientation schedule. Orientation for all incoming 1L students will be held Thursday, August 30th – Sunday, September 2nd. Events held that Thursday and Friday are mandatory for all 1Ls.
Saturday and Sunday will feature field games, a food truck lunch picnic showcasing popular local vendors, bowling and games at Jillian’s downtown, Boston museum tours (featuring local attractions such as the Museum of Science, Fine Arts Museum, Fenway Park and the New England Aquarium), trips to the local Target to help you settle in and feel more at home, an ice cream social and outdoor movie, a scavenger hunt around HLS, Harvard University, and Harvard Square as well as tours of Harvard University introducing you to the lore, legends and major sites around campus. These social events are intended to help you take a break, have fun, and get to know your new classmates (and us!) better. The weekend activities are optional but strongly encouraged.
Graduate Program students are more than welcome to join us for the social activities during the weekend as well as the ice cream social and outdoor movie. For more details regarding LL.M. Orientation contact the Graduate Program directly.
