Every year, ACS hosts a series of major events. Here are some of the highlights for this coming year:
Every year, ACS brings in attorneys who are about to argue before the Supreme Court or the D.C. Circuit, and HLS students get a sneak peek at their arguments. The moots are judged by 3 HLS professors with expertise in the subject area. Last year’s participants included Michigan Law Professor David Moran, who argued Evans v. Michigan before the Supreme Court this past year, and Mr. Kannon K. Shanmugam, who argued Maryland v. King before the Court this year.
This year, HLS is hosting ACS’ Regional Conference, with the theme “The Future of Equality.” There will be 7 panel discussions including topics such as Criminal Justice, Campaigns and Elections, and Equality in the Internet Age. Check in for more details soon on our ACS Northeast Regional Conference page.
