Community Outreach
The Community Service Committee organizes several short term projects for BLSA members to participate in during the academic year. Past efforts have included: A Clothing Drive for those displaced by Hurricane Katrina; Toys for Tots; a book drive to benefit children in Namibia impacted by HIV/AIDS; a Blood Drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross; a holiday-card writing campaign for inmates; a drive for Famine in Niger; and a Clothes Drive for Hurricane Katrina.
