Recommendations for Farm-to-School Bill Accepted!

Over the course of the fall semester, the Delta Project’s Food Policy team developed legislative recommendations for a statewide farm-to-school bill in Mississippi. Mississippi Policy Partners – Now Accepting Applications!

HLS Delta Project students present to Memphis food stakeholders in March 2011

In March 2011, three HLS Delta Project students spent a week in Memphis, working with community members to recommend changes to the Memphis Food Code. These students were part of a team of over 20 students that worked throughout the 2010-2011 year to recommend a comprehensive overhaul of the Code.
