The Mission of the Harvard Law School Drama Society is to provide an outlet for creative expression on campus. The Drama Society typically produces a straight play or musical in the fall, as well as the annual HLS Parody in the spring. As the largest event of the year, the Parody draws a sell-out audience of students, faculty members, and visitors, and involves a cast and crew made up of over seventy students.
Above all, the Drama Society strives to put on quality productions while not taking itself too seriously. We hope to provide an opportunity both for our participants as well as the law school community at large to take a break from the everyday stresses of law school. Students enter Harvard Law with a wealth of talents and experiences that can easily get lost in the bustle of school, and we hope to provide an opportunity for students to foster these talents and share them with the rest of our community.
