On November 2, 2011, the Harvard Environmental Law Society, Environmental Law Review, and Food Law Society hosted a discussion with Karl Brooks, EPA Region 7 Administrator. Appointed by President Obama as Regional Administrator in February 2010, Mr. Brooks supervises EPA operations in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and nine Tribal Nations. Mr. Brooks spoke to HLS students about working on environmental issues in a heavily agricultural area of the country and potential job availability within EPA’s Regional Offices.
