Exploring the role of innovation and intellectual property in progressing regional economic development.

Political Stability and Interactions with the United States
Addressing the role of political stability in the region’s economic development and will
tackle issues of corruption, fragile government, political leverage, and U.S. intervention.

Conceptualizing Rights: Making Progress and Moving Forward
Identifying two under-reported areas of concern in the Caribbean – gay rights and
women’s rights – and explore how the Caribbean region can use rights in public cultural, political
and legal discourse as part of the ongoing process of reorganizing social relations and institutions.
