Carpools:
Meet on Massachusetts Avenue in front of Wasserstein Hall at 1:00pm for departure at 1:30 sharp. Please indicate in your RSVP if you will require a ride, or if you have a vehicle and are willing to squeeze in an extra person or two. Parking is free.
Activities and Cost:
You pay only for the fruit you pick and the attractions you visit. The farm accepts cash and major credit cards.
Apples are sold by the bag. Half-bushel (20lbs) $26. One peck (10lbs) $18. You may split the cost of a half-bushel or peck with another couple. Pumpkins are sold at 60 cents per lb. HLCA will provide a bushel (40lbs) of apples to split among the group.
For kids, an all day $5 “fun pass” includes unlimited admission for one child to the moon bounce, hay maze, hay mountain, pedal tractors, and tractor play area. Visiting the farm animals is free. Parents may enter the play areas with children for free.
Hay rides are $2 per person for a 15 min wagon tour of the orchards. Pony rides are $5 each.
Cider and Doughnuts Party:
We will rendezvous as a group at the picnic tables near the apple shop at 4:30pm. The HLCA will be providing cider and doughnuts for all!
