Get Involved

Lambda’s email listserv is the primary channel for communicating event information and other important developments. Students who are interested in becoming more involved with any of our committees should attend an upcoming general membership meeting for more information. These meetings will be announced on the listserv and on this website.

Membership Services

Lambda is in the process of rolling out a range of new academic resources for LGBTQ students. Planned initiatives include a 1L Mentorship program; a Lambda Outline Bank; a listing of professors interested in supervising LGBTQ-related student work; and a database of LGBTQ-specific scholarships and awards.

Lambda has also been able to send a contingent of students every year to the Lavender Law Conference & Career Fair, hosted by the National LGBT Bar Association.

Career Exploration & Development

Lambda’s Professional Liaisons will be organizing a number of events and career exploration opportunities throughout the academic year. Look out for networking receptions with firms and public sector employers; tips and referrals for securing summer employment; access to our alumni database; and events addressing the experiences of LGBTQ professionals within the legal sector.
