On Saturday, October 20th, WLA members canvassed for Project No One Leaves.  The mortgage crisis has led to a epidemic of foreclosures, but it is also important to remember that the mortgage and foreclosure crisis is a women’s issue.  Women weredisproportionally targeted for predatory subprime lending, and are disproportionally affected by foreclosure. WLA partnered with Project No One to canvass in neighborhoods of Boston to help empower those facing foreclosure and teach them about their rights.
