On Wednesday, Nov. 28, WLA and La Alianza held an event where a student panel, comprised of four 2Ls and 3Ls, discussed their experience applying for jobs their 1L summer. The students experiences spanned government, non-profit, and firm work.

The resounding advice from the panel was do something you are passionate about, apply early for coveted jobs, and to not be discouraged if you don’t have a job by March.

Prior to the event, 30 2Ls and 3Ls also filled out a survey answering common 1L questions and their number one advice for 1Ls. These resources are available at the WLA website under Resources for 1Ls.
